ClassCore digital credentials · Version 2026-09-25
Service terms
These terms cover the ClassCore digital-credential service used by independent issuers, training organisations, universities, schools, learners and people checking a credential.
Effective 25 September 2026 · Provider: EduChain Inc.
1. Who agrees to these terms
EduChain Inc. provides this service. An independent issuer accepts these terms personally. If you register for an organisation, you confirm that you can act for it. A university or school must complete the separate institution-review process before it can issue as an approved institution. A signed agreement with an institution controls where it expressly differs from these terms. Mandatory consumer rights are not removed.
Learners may receive, view and share credentials without an issuer subscription. A person checking a public credential may use the verification page to assess that record, not to harvest recipient information.
2. Accounts and issuer identity
Give accurate registration details, protect your login and tell us promptly if an account may be compromised. Independent issuers must be adults and may issue only to adult learners under the self-service path. An organisation representative must have authority to use its name and marks. Email confirmation checks access to a mailbox; it is not proof of identity, accreditation, a licence or government approval.
Do not issue in the name of an institution, regulator or public authority unless that authority has approved your use and ClassCore has completed the relevant institutional review. We may ask for evidence, limit issuance or review a suspicious issuer claim.
3. Your credentials and learners
The issuer is responsible for the accuracy of each award, the right to use its content and artwork, its eligibility decision, recipient notices and any required permission to process learner data. Do not place identity numbers, health information, private academic records or other sensitive data in public credential fields. Correct or revoke a credential when the underlying claim is no longer valid.
ClassCore signs and verifies the record supplied through the service. A valid signature means the record has not been altered and its status can be checked. It does not, by itself, prove the learner completed a course, that the issuer is accredited or that a government has recognised the award. MoHESR submission and attestation are not part of this public service at launch.
4. Trial and future paid plans
Eligible independent issuers and training organisations can use an initial no-charge allowance of up to 10 issued credentials within 30 days, subject to the limits shown in their workspace. There is no automatic paid conversion, card charge or online checkout in this release. When the allowance or period ends, new issuance pauses. We will present any future paid plan and its terms before you choose it. Institutions may have different terms in a signed agreement.
5. Credentials after the trial or subscription ends
Ending an issuer trial or subscription does not automatically revoke a valid credential or remove a learner’s access to it. Existing hosted verification remains available while we retain the record for that purpose. A record may still expire, be corrected or revoked by an authorised issuer, become unavailable after a valid deletion request, or be restricted for fraud, security or legal reasons. If the service itself is discontinued, we will provide reasonable notice and an export opportunity where practicable. We cannot promise that a hosted page will exist forever; learners should keep their downloaded copies.
6. Public verification and sharing
Anyone with a credential’s public link may see its recipient name, award, issuer, dates, status and certificate file; the certificate may contain further information the issuer chose to include. Links can be forwarded and search or preview services may cache shared content. Issuers must explain this exposure to learners before issuing. ClassCore does not publish a general learner directory.
7. Data, privacy and service providers
You keep your rights in content you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to host, sign, deliver, display, verify, secure and support it. Issuers must have a lawful reason to provide learner data. Our privacy notice explains our role, public verification, service providers, transfers and rights requests. A signed institutional data-processing agreement may add more specific duties. We do not sell learner records or use them for targeted advertising.
8. Use the service fairly
Do not impersonate another issuer; issue false or misleading achievements; upload unlawful or malicious material; send spam; bypass security, rate limits or tenant boundaries; or use the service in a way that violates law or another person’s rights. You must not claim that a ClassCore credential is government-attested, accredited or certified by a standards body when that has not occurred.
9. Restrictions, changes and support
We may limit an affected account or credential where reasonably needed to stop abuse, protect security, meet law or address a serious breach. We will give notice and a way to contact us when practical. We may improve the service and update these terms. Material changes will have a new effective date and will be communicated as required by law; continued use after the effective date may require renewed acceptance.
10. Legal terms and contact
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the truth of issuer-supplied claims. The warranties, liability limits, dispute rules and other general provisions in the ClassCore general terms apply where compatible with these service terms and applicable law. A signed institutional agreement takes priority for its subject. Contact legal@classcore.io about these terms or an issuer complaint.
